We spend a third of our lives at work. In addition to work, of course, every worker produces waste. In many cases, much more waste is generated in the workplace than in a normal household. Therefore, it is very important to sort the waste. Many companies still do not do enough.
Biodegradable kitchen waste is a type of waste that is generated in households or catering facilities (especially biowaste from kitchens), or in gardens, parks, etc. Biological waste can be recovered in a biogas plant or composted after sorting, which puts these resources back into the processing cycle.
Waste collection is not a cheap affair. Therefore, cities and municipalities must regularly increase the fees for municipal waste collection. But there is another way. Not increasing, but more significant savings. At the same time, the collection efficiency itself increases.
Throwing everything into one (garbage) bag is not worth it. Learning to recycle properly not only reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills but also allows us to often save considerable funds. The good news is that waste separation can be started almost immediately and it costs nothing.
